Worship Services

St. Mark Lutheran has worship services on Saturdays at 5 pm and Sundays at 9:30 am.  Our worship services are a blend of contemporary and traditional.

Holy Communion is offered the first and third weekends of the month.

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod believes Scripture teaches the Lord's Supper is a precious gift of God in which Christ gives us His true body and blood (in a miraculous way), together with the bread and wine, for the forgiveness of our sins and the strengthening of our faith.  Because the Bible teaches that this sacrament may also be spiritually harmful if misused, and that participation in the Lord's Supper is an act of confession of faith, the LCMS ordinarily communes only those who have been instructed in the teachings of our church and who have confessed their faith in these teachings.  If you are not a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church or a sister Lutheran congregation, we respectfully request you speak with Pastor Gilson before communing.

Children pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade are dismissed from Sunday worship following the Children's Message for Children's Worship.  Sixth though eighth grade attend Confirmation classes at 10:45 am.

A time of connection and fellowship follows the Sunday 9:30 am worship service in the Upper Room.

Lent and Advent services are at 7 pm on Wednesday nights.  Lenten services are preceded by a "soup supper" at 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Christmas Eve service is at 7 pm with Christmas Day service at 10:45 am.  Both are services of Holy Communion.  New Year's Eve Taizé service is at 5:30 pm and New Year's Day service of Holy Communion is at 10:45 am.
